Handwoven in Egypt from upcycled fabric off-cuts

Crafted in the heart of Cairo, by the Association for the Protection of the Environment (A.P.E.) - an NGO empowering women of the Zabbaleen community to develop new skills and generate income for their families.

A sturdy, high-quality bag in light grey and white, perfect for shopping, days out at the beach, picnics or even as an overnight bag. Women from the Zabbaleen community, working with the A.P.E. utilise fabric off-cuts to create these beautifully handwoven totes from fabric pieces that would otherwise end up in landfill.
